The Carlton Croquet Club's tournament was brought to a conclusion by the playing of the doubles finals, which resulted hb fol°Chanipionship Doubles.—Winners, Mrs. Baker and Mrs. Schubert; runners-up. Mrs. Roberts and Miss Keatley. A and B Doubles,—Winners, Mrs. Clarke and Mrs. Mosley; runners-up, Mrs. Carson and Mrs. Robinson. B Doubles.—Winners, Mrs. Graham and Mrs. Isbister: runners-up, Mrs. Staunton and Mrs. Goodison PAEROA LADIES' CLUB [BY TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT) PAEROA, Thursday The following officers were elected at the annual meeting of the I'aeroa Ladies' Croquet Club:—President, Mrs. G. P. Lamb: vice-presidents, Mrs. W. J. Towers and Mrs. F Marsh; committee, Mesdames J. Young, W. Barclay, L. Gibb, G Spinks, S. Ratliif and E. P. Fathers; secretary and treasurer. Airs. E. Edwards. It was decided to close the season on April 29.
