INCREASE IN TEAMS The Kreater interest being taken in the game was referred to by Mr. H. W. Tycr, who presid-d at the annual meeting of the Auckland Table Tennis Association. There was a good attendance. The report stated that eighty trams had competed in the various competitions, an increase on the previous year. The financial (tatement showed a credit balance of £'22. Reference to the success of Auckland players in the New Zealand championships was made by the chairman and other speakers. Congratulations were extended to the following title-holders:—F. Paton, men's singles champion; Miss I. Dove, ludies' singles; Miss I). McAdam and Miss D. Carter, ladies' doubles. It was decided to udopt the light ball in preference (o the heavy one used previously. The following officers were elected Patron, the Mayor. Mr. Ernest Davis; president, Mr. 11. V. Choyce; vice-presidents, Messrs. 11. \V. Tyer C. L. Taylor, H. W. Brien, E. Stallworthy; honorary secretary, Mr. A. Spooner; honorary treasurer, Mr. D. Kinlock; committee, Messrs. A. Cheal, K. Paton, J. Muuns, E. Cameron, Mill L. Hemus.
