Accused made a statement to the police admitting breaking into the dwelling and stealing the goods. Accused said he knew that Mrs. Forbes was away arid as ho wanted to get away from Opotiki he thought he might find some money in the hous« to help" him get away. Accused was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence.
