TRIBUTE TO EX-M.P.
Forty friends and supporters of Mr. F. Lye. formerly M.P. for Waikflto, were present at a complimentary dinner held in his honour at Cambridge. Mr. Wynn Brown presided. On behalf of those present, the oldest person at the gathering, Mr. J. Taylor, presented Mr. Lye with a canteen of cutlery. Speakers referred to Air. Lye's service as member for Waikato from 192 iS to 1935. A message of good wishes was received by Mr. Lye from the Rfc. lion# J. G. Coates.
