HOUSES FOR WORKMEN
BIRTHDAY GIFT TO HITLER BERLIN. April 22 The Saar branch of the Nazi Party, which intended to give a birthday present to Herr Hitler of a battery of antiaircraft guns, has decided instead to place 500,000 marks at his disposal for the construction of workmen's houses. Herr Burckel, Nazi regional leader, explains that the change was the result of the conviction that the LeaderChancellor would be happy to replace military rearmament by social-rearma-ment.
