WHANGAREI INTERESTS
Mrs. E. G. Tyrrell, of Whangarei, will leave Auckland by the Monowai on May 1 for Sydney, where she will join the Mongolia en route to England. Mrs. G. Cameron and Mrs. H. Goodwin, both of Sydney, are the guests of Mrs. D. J. Goodwin. Bank Street, Whangarei. Mrs. J. McClusky, Mair Avenue, Whangarei, who ihas been visiting Dunedin, Queenstown and Milford Sounds, is at present the guest of Mr. and Mrs. J. McClusky, juri., of the West Coast (South Island). They intend visiting the Franz Josef Glacier. Mrs. G. Andrewes, of Kohukohu, has returned home after a holiday visit to Whangarei. Mrs. F. Pope, of Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. J. W. Hall, Hospital Residence. Maunu Road. Mrs. G. Lawrence, of Auckland, who lias been spending a holiday in Whangarei as the guest of Mrs. R. Flavell, is now visiting North Auckland. M isses Betty and Dorothy Wilson, who have been on an extensive motoring holiday in t!he South Island, have returned to their home at Portland. Mrs. H. Richards, Remuera Road, Auckland, has returned home after spending a short holiday in Whangarei as the guest of Mrs. T. Kearney, Hall Avenue. Mrs. J. W. Hnll, Hospital Residence, has returned after a short holiday visit to Auckland. Mrs, J. Spencer Day, who lias been holidaying at Orewa, has returned home.
