WHAKATANE NOTES
Mrs. W. M. Clark, of Paeroa, Jhas left for Auckland and Whangarei. Mrs. J. Burn-Murdoch, of Whakatane, is on a holiday visit to Whangarei. Mrs. E. P. Williams, of Hastings, is a visitor to Whakatane. Miss Lylle Potts, Mr. P. Potts and Miss Mary Potts, of Auckland, are spending a week's holiday with Mrs. N. Potts, of Wellington Street, Opotiki. Mrs. B. Love, of Auckland, has returned after a holiday spent at Ohope Beach. Mrs. Sanger, of To Awamutu, is staying at Ohope Beach Mrs. Greenslade and her daughters, of Hamilton, are spending a holiday at Ohope Beach. Mrs. John Houston, of Hawera, is a visitor to Whakatane. Miss M. Whiteside, of Stewart Street, Whakatane, who has been spending a month's holiday at Te Awamutu, has returned. Mrs. de Lisle, of Hastings, is the guest of her daughter, Mrs. C. A. le Lievre, of Edgecumbe. Miss V. Torrens, of Paeroa, is the guest of Mrs, C. Hallett, of Otalciri. Mrs. H. Witby, of Awakaponga, returned recently from a visit to Auckland. Mrs. Lan Gow, of Edgecumbe, is on a holiday visit to Invercargill. Mrs. J. Beattie, of Otakiri, is visiting 'friends at Wanganui. Mrs. D. McQuoid and Miss Lulu Barker, of Edgecumbe, have returned from a motor tour to Coromandel.,
