Mrs. K. L. Brooklield, Benbow Street, St. Heliers, is visiting Dunedin. Mrs. T. C. Urquhart, Albert Road, Devonport, is spending a holiday at Rotorua. Mrs. D. A. Vaughan Philpott has returned to Auckland after having visited Rotorua. Mrs. R. G. Rainger, Arney Road, Remuera, will leave on Sunday on a visit to Wellington. Miss Lesley Jackson, Remuera Road, is the guest of Mrs.&A. W. Blair, The Terrace, Wellington. Mrs. L. P. Leary, Seaview Road, Remuera, who has been on a caravan trip, has returned home. Mrs. Frank Bull, Ascot, Mangere, who has been visiting Wanganui and tho Chateau, has returned home. Mrs. Neville Newcomb, Victoria Avenue, Remuera, has returned from a visit to Hawke's Bay and Rotorua. Miss Joan Hooper, of Remuera, has left for Hamilton to continue her professional training at Waikato Hospital. At Hotel Cargen are: —Mrs. Trevor Bloomfield (Waiuku), Mrs. F. Alison (Waiheke), Mrs. L. Galletly (Queensland). The Misses Shirley and Esmee Burcher, Lochiel Road, Remuera, who have been visiting Wellington, have returned home. At the Grand Hotel are:—The Hon. Mrs. Leslie Gamage and Mtb. M. McCormack (London), and Mrs. W. Williams (Christchurch). Miss Eileen Goodwin, of Palmerston North, is visiting Auckland, and is the guest of her sister, Mrs. Clive Coleman, Cintra, Symonds Street. Mrs. J. M. Wilson, Portland Road, Remuera, will leave on Sunday for Wellington, where she intends spending a week or more playing golf. Mrs. D. Skelton and Major-General Skelton, of Sydney, arrived at Auckland by the Wanganella yesterday. They are at the Grand Hotel. Miss Marjorie Ashton. of Epsom, who has been spending a holiday in Sydney, Hobart and Melbourne, returned by the Wanganella yesterday morning. Mrs. D. Carr, of Rosebank Road, Avondale, is spending a fortnight's holiday with her daughter-in-law, Mrs. S. Carr, of Roto-o-rangi, Cambridge. The Misses Patricia and Nancy Dawson, of Auckland, have taken Mrs. Robert Rose's house in Remuera Road during the latter's absence in South America. Mrs. W. Williamson, of Sydney, accompanied by Mr. Williamson, arrived at Auckland yesterday by the Wanganella on a holiday visit. They are at the Grand Hotel. Mrs. J. W. Tattersfield, of Allandale Road, Moujjt Albert, and Mr. Tatters-, field, who havejbeen spending a month's holiday in Sydney, returned to Auckland yesterday by the Wanganella. The Lady Evelyn Drummond and Miss Joan Drummond, Gilgit Road, Epsom, who have been visiting Wellington and the South Island for some weeks, will return home on Sunday morning. Among the visitors to Auckland for the Firth —Thorne George wedding are Mrs. Sefton Banks, Mrs. Nelson Banks, Mrs. Joseph Banks, and Miss Amelia Banks, of Cambridge. Mrs. MacMillan Bull, of Coromandel, is a visitor to Auckland for the Firth—Thorne George wedding, and is the guest of her mother, Mrs. M. M. Louisson, Remuera Road. At the Station Hotel are: —Mrs. Alan Belcher and Miss N. Belcher (Geelong, Victoria). Mrs. R. H. Packwood (Whangarei), Mrs. J. H. Clay (Wanganui), Miss Everitt (London). Mrs. W. Pierce and the Misses Barbara and Cherie Pierce, Ranui Road, Remuera, who have been staying at Mrs. Percy Upton's house, Minnehaha Avenue, Takapuna, for the last five weeks, have returned home.
