NEW ZEALAND UNION ELECTION OF OFFICERS [by telegraph—own* correspondent] WELLINGTON, Wednesday The following officers were elected at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Rugby Union to-day:—Patron, the Governor-General, Viscount Galway; president, Mr. R. J. Smith (Bush districts) ; vice-presidents, presidents of the affiliated unions; management committee, the Hon. J. McLeod, Lieu-tenant-Colonel J. G. Roache and Messrs. W. J. Wallace, S. S. Dean, A. McDonald, T. A. Fletcher and F T. Glasgow; appeal council, Sir James Hutchison and Messrs. F. H. Campbell and F. H. Sincock, of Dunedin.
