FINANCES OF QUEENSLAND
Tho Queensland Treasury returns for February showed that the State deficit for tho eight months of the financial year was £(327,541, compared with £135,710 for tho corresponding period of the previous year. The revenue for the eight months was £9,424,141, compared with £9,331,098, and the expenditure was £10,051,593, compared with £9,466,808.
