town hall proposal A ratepayers' poll on a proposal to raise a loan of £3500 to build a town liall at Glen Eden will be held to-day between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. llie currency of the loan is 35 years, and interest at 3£ per cent and a sinking fund ot li per cent per annum are proposed. It will be secured by a special rate of seven-tenths of- a penny in the pound on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Glen Eden town district.
