ORGANISATION OF YOUTH
MOVEMENT IN GERMANY BERLIN. April 19 The leader of the German Youth Movement, Herr Baldur von Schirach, broadcasting to parents, announced that henceforward all German children between the ages of 10 and 14 would be expected to enrol in a young folks' organisation, and those between 14 and 18 in the National Youth organisation. He added: "Let there be no boy or girl in Germany who does not enrol to serve the Leader." Enrolment in the various organisations remains voluntary, and is supported by nation-wide propaganda, but it is expected that a law will compel membership of youth organisations if the voluntary system fails.
