ADVANCE ON ADDIS ABABA The map shows the territory over which the Italian forces are advancing toward Addis Ababa, the town of Ankober, which is the latest to be reported as occupied by the northern force, being in the centre of the map. Also shown are Sasa Baneh, captured by the Italians coming from the Ogaden area in, the south, and Jijtga, near Harrar, almost within striking distance of the railway leading from Addis Ababa through Diredawa to Jibouti, on the coast.
