POST OFFICE PROGRESS
TWO NEW BRANCHES BALMORAL AND TAKAPUNA An announcement that a new post office, money-order office and savings bank would shortly bo opened at Balmoral, and that a branch office transacting postal business only would bo established at the Strand, Takapuna, was made on Saturday. Representations for the opening of the two offices have been made for some time by the Balmoral Business Men's Association and Mr. W. J. Lyon, M.P., respectively. It has not yet been decided where the offices will be situated. It is expected that shop premises will be leased in each case.
