Sir, —In the Herald supplement of April 11, Kotare discusses American idioms. I believe Australia, also, has her own; for where we say one is "working overtime," Australians use "working back." r lhey never speak of a "holiday"—it is always an "eighthour day," and not "good day," but a "bonzer day," etc. H.M.
