WATERFRONT ARRESTS
TWO MEN FINED *
Two men who were arrested simultaneously by +h<> wharf police on Friday afternoon appeared in the Police Court on Saturday before Mr. Wyvorn Wilson, S.M. They were Harold Pilkington, aged 21, seaman, and Alfred Thomas Thompson, aged 25. Pilkington was charged with being drunk and obstructing Constable Gray, and Thompson was charged with being drunk and using obscene language. Roth mon pleaded guilty to both charges. Pilkington was fined ss, in default 24 hours' imprisonment, for being drunk, and £2, or 48 hours' imprisonment, for obstructing the constable. Thompson was fined ss, or 24 hours' impmonment, on the first charge, and £2, or 48 hours', on the second.
