PROGRESS OF JOURNEY MOUNTAIN NOW IN SIEE3T Times Cable LONDON", April 12 After marching 100 miles from Gangtok, members of the Mount Everest expedition now are encamped at Kampadzong, 90 miles from the mountain, which is in full view, states a copyright wireless message to the Times from Mr. Hugh Ruttledge, leader of the expedition. "After weeks of acclimatisation at Tangu, where our new oxygen apparatus was successfully tested, the whole expedition, complete with 300 transport animals, crossed the frontier passes of Kongrais and Sebula, both at 17,000 feet," says Mr. Ruttledge. "We entered Tibet on April 2. We will resume the march to-morrow to Ling-Ga, 18 miles along the route to Teng Kv Idzong, and we expect to reach our base camp on April 24."
