PLACINGS REVERSED ON PARADE AND ADALENE INTERFERENCE IN LAST RACE After the running of the Islington Handicap, the last race at Ellerslie yesterday, the judicial committee of the Auckland Racing Club held an inquiry into the interference by On Parade with Adalcne toward the finish. ]t was found that such interference had prevented Adalene from gaining second, and the judicial committee decided to reverse the positions, placing Adalene second and On Parade third. The committee also considered the happening was due to the inexperience of O. Evans, the apprentice rider of On Parade, and consequently, no punishment was inflicted, but it was suggested that his employer should exercise more judgment in future in choosing suitable horses for the lad to ride>

An inquiry was held into the falling of Kilbeiis in the same race. It was found there was no interference, and that the horse accidentally ran into the rail.
