HAIRDRESSING MODELS
Young women who sit in shop windows in Melbourne displaying the beauty of a head of hair permanently waved bv some special process were the subject of a new determination of the Hairdressers' Board, which became operative on April 11. I his fixes the wages of these women at £6 a week for 20 hours' work. The object of this high rate is to discourage hairdressers from employing young women on this class of work.
