OBITUARY
MR. E. A. GUMBLEY [BY TELEGRArH OWN CORRESPONDENT] TAURANGA. Monday The death has occurred of Mr. Ernest Arthur Gumbley at Wan, New Guinea. Mr. Gumbley was the eldest son of Mr. uiid Mrs. Arthur -Gumbley, of Wa*. nganui, where he was educated, ne represented Wnnganui on the Rugby field on several occasions. Some years ago Mr. Gumbley held the position or borough engineer at Tauranga, aI J later was engineer to the Lower H" County Council. At one time he was engineer in charge of the Invercargi municipality. Some time ago J • Gumblev went to Australia, tie , turned to New Zealand and eventual y went to New Guinea.
