LATE SIR JAMES MILLS
ENGLISH ESTATE OF £73,279 [from our own correspondent] By Air Mail LONDON, March 21 The late Sir Raines Mills, chairman of the Union Steam Ship Company of New Zealand, Limited, left an estate in England of £73,279. His bequests included the following:— To Williamina Mary Henry, whether or not still in his service, £6OOO, "in grateful recognition of her devoted services to me for many years," also £SO a year for 20 years, and £SO for personal expenses on her return journey to England. To his niece, Mildred Buller, £IOOO, "in recognition of her long and loving care of her mother during her long illness." To his sister-in-law, Mary Widenham Maunsell, £SOO in recognition of her kindness to his elder clnldren in their early years. To his niece, Olive Kettle, £3OO, in recognition of her devotion to his late wife in her last illness. Sir James Mills' estate was sworn at under £160,000.
