SITE FOR 1940 OLYMPIAD
TOKIO THOUGHT SUITABLE TOKIO, April 10 Count Baillet-Latour, chairman of the International Olympics Committee, who is about to return to Europe from Japan, after a visit of inspection, intimated that he will report to the committee that Tokio will be suitable for the 1940 games. The proximity of Japan to Pacific countries such as New Zealand and Australia will, it is thought, make the site particularly suitable.
