Miss Cecilia Pharazyn, of Dannerirke, left' Wellington by the Rangitata on April 9 to visit England.
Miss B. S wayne, of Cam bridge, is spending the Easter holiday with her aunt, Mrs. McGovern, sen., of Victoria Avenue.
After a three months' holiday in the South Island Mrs. William Gee has returned to her home in. Bassett Road, Auckland. /
Miss Ruth Herrick, of Napier, who has been the guest of Mrs. A. McCosh Clark, Bassett Road, Remuera, has returned South.
Mrs. F. C. Mappin, of Mountain Road, and the Misses Laura and Ethel Mappin left by motor-car on Thursday for Lake Rotoiti.
Miss Marcia Tye, of Takapuna, will leave to-morrow by the Aorangi on ah extended A'isit to relatives and friends in New South Wales.
At the Station Hotel are Mrs. P. Singer, Mrs. A. Houston (Gisborne), Mrs. J. de Lautour (Wairoa) and Mrs. Boys (Hawke's Bay).
Mrs. H. 0. Nolan, Mount St. John Avenue, Epsom, will leave to-morrow for Paihia, where she will stay with her daughter, Mrs. Ambrose Spong.
Mrs. Denzil Barker, of Gisborne, who has been spending several weeks at Lake Rotoiti, will arrive in Auckland on Saturday and will be the guest of Mrs. fc. Thorne George, Remuera Road.
Mrs. J. A. Lavelle, of Gisborne, who. with her small son, has been the guest of her mother, Mrs. J. R. Self. Shelly Beach Road, Heme Bay, will leave to-day on her return to Poverty Bay. I
At the Grand Hotel are Mrs. R. M. Bell (Hastings), Mrs. A. C. Hallen (Oakland, California), Mrs. D. A. Swanson" and Miss Swanson (Melbourne), and Mrs. H. H. Styll (Buenos Aires).
Mrs. T." Bassett, of Whangarei, returned to Auckland by the Monowai, yesterday from a visit to Tasmania. She will be the guest of Mrs. A. M. Ferguson, Victoria Avenue, Remuera, for a few davs before returning home.
Mrs. R. Bradbury and Miss Dorothy BradburV. of Hawera, are visiting Auckland and are the guests of Mrs. John Hardlev, Bassett Road, Remuera. Miss Hilda Hardley will leave to-morrow on a motor tour "to Tauranga and Rotorua.
Dr. Jessie Maddison, accompanied by her sister, Mrs. Gumbleton, Miss Shelagh Gumbleton and Miss Jean Wilson, will leave shortly on a motoring tour to Rotorua, Lake Taupo and Napier. Thev will be away a fortnight.
At the Hotel Cargen are Mrs. E. Cashmore, Mrs. S. Paterson and Miss C. Leicester (Jersej'). Mrs. Sherrack and Miss Olive Thorp (England), Miss Browning (Oxfordshire), Mrs. McSwiney and Miss M. McSwiney (London), Mrs. Bowes (Sydney).
