FALLS IN STEEPLECHASE CONDITION OF JOCKEYS J. P. Fergus, rider of Town Beauty, and D. J. Burgess, rider of The Hiker, received slight concussion when thoir mounts fell in the Mangere Steeplechase at Ellerslie on Saturday. A. McGregor had his right shoulder bruised when Bells of Bow fell in the same race.
