HAURAKI PLAINS RATES
COLLECTIONS FOR YEAR [by telegraph—own correspondent] NGATEA, Saturday The Hauraki Plains County Council received a lengthly report .<n the finances for 1935-36 from tho county clerk, Mr. E. A. Mahoney, last week. The clerk said tho accounts were ready for audit. Rates collected for the current year were £19,193, including tho 12} per cent subsidy, out of £24,544 levied. Arrears collected totalled £5371, out of £16,539 outstanding at the boginuing of the year.
