Mr. Harold Gatty, of Pan-Pacific Airways, who has been on a business visit to New Zealand, will leave for Sydney to-morrow night by the Aorangi, accompanied by his three sons.

Messrs. W. J. Jordan, A. S. Richards, W. J.. Lyon, A. C. Sexton, C. R. Petrie, C. H. Burnett and C. H. Chapman, M.P.'s, left for Wellington by the limited express last night.

Dr. W. Hellenthal, Consul for Germany in Sydney, and Mrs. Hellenthal, arrived by the Monowai yesterday on a holiday visit to the Dominion, during which they will climb in the Southern Alps.

General Sir Norman Macmullen, geneneral officer commanding the Eastern Command in India, who has been on a six weeks' fishing holiday in the Dominion, will leave for Sydney to-morrow night by the Aorangi.

Sir George and Lady Sbirtcliffe, of Wellington, intend to leave for a visit to England by the Tamaroa on May 22. They will return to New Zealand at the end. of the year and will probably stay at Jamaica for a few weeks en route.

Mr. Arthur Way, secretary of the Marton Jockey Club and Marton Agricultural and Pastoral Association, left last week for California aiyl Great Britain. He intends to visit the Continent also, and will return to New Zealand via Suez in about seven months' time.

Mr. Owen Chapman, formerly of the Public Works Department, Napier, will leave for Suva at the end of the present month to take up a position with the Fiji Public Works Department. He is at present spending a holiday with his mother, Mrs. E. M. D. Chapman, of Devonport.
