Green Hills
God made a hill in Palestine, . IVhere Almonds and wild olives filled the aii\ With mingled sweetness. And there At stmrist in the olive grove God knelt in prayer. God made a hill, a Calvary, Where Red blood stained the grass that once was fair In shapes fantastic. ' And there With Love Divine, God came, His Cross to bear. God made a hill for you and me. Where We can dream new dreams and be aware . Of lovely things; And there Each windy hillock is a poignant prayer. , „ _ —Kathleen C. Teape.
