LEAGUE OF MOTHERS
A very enjoyablo afternoon was given by Mrs. F. W. Whyte, provincial secretary of the League of Mothers, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Kevin o'Hal lor an, Atanga Avenue, Epsom. The guests of honour were Mrs. S. 0. English, provincial president, and Mrs. E. R. Allen, provincial treasurer of the league, each being given a beautiful spray of autumn-tinted flowers and maidenhair. Most of tho provincial officers of the league were present, also, Mrs. Fred Whyte ami Miss Noreen Allen. During the afternoon amusing competitions were held and members had the opportunity of exchanging ideas as to the running of the league.
