CYCLISTS DEATH
OPENING OF INQUEST An inquest into the death of Mr. Daniel Strong, waterside worker, aged 61, 'who died in the Auckland Hospital on Wednesday, was opened before Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., coroner, on Thursday. Deceased, a single man living in Myrtle Street, Western Springs, was knocked from his bicycle by a motorcar at the corner of Fanshawe and. Hobson Streets on March 7, and admitted to the hospital suffering from a fracture of the skull. The inquiry was adjourned after evidence of identification had been taken.
