Reakes, Director-General of Agriculture, who has-resigned, was referred to by the Hon. W. Lee Martin, Minister of Agriculture, in Hamilton on Wednesday. Mr. Martin said ri unlikely that an appointment would be made for several months to cojne/Mr. A. H. Cockayne would act as directors in the interim.
