WIRELESS FOR THE BLIND
A CHRISTCHURCH FUND [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] CHRISTCHURCH. Thursday A decision to buy 15 wireless sots for blind persons in Christchurch who were in poor circumstances was reached at to-day's mgeting of the advisory committee of the Sir Arthur Pearson Memorial Fund for the Blind. It was stated that the estate of MrChristian Schmidt had provided £4OO for the benefit of blind persons in Canterbury and the committee had decided to spend part of this in the purchase of wireless sets for blind persons who could not afford to pay even part of the price of a radio set.
