CLAY-BIRD SHOOTING
HUNTLY CLUB EVENTS [from OUR OWN correspondent] HUNTLY. Wednesday The annual championships under the auspices of the Huntly Gun Club attracted a large number of entries. The senior championship was won by R. Clinch, who held the cup in 1933. In the junior chnmpionship D. Holland won after a shoot-off with J. Ralph. Detailed results are:— Sweepstake, 9 birds.—R. Clinch (20yds), 9 birds; T. James (Hyds). H. Sodersten (lOyda), G. Kcmoof (16yds). N. Baunders (15yds), 8; H. Meyer (12yds). 7 Junior Championship. 9 birds off 12yds.— J. Ralph, D. Holland. 8 birds; A. Crabtree. H. Sodersten, 7. In the shoot-off D. Holland won on the 14th bird. Senior Championship, 21 birds off 15yds.— R. Clinch, 21 birds; N. Bossnd. G. Kosool. 20 .All others dropped out after three misses. Gymcrack, 6 birds.—H. Meyer, N. Bossad and R. Clinch all shot the possible and divided the prize money. , "VValk-up Shoot.—Divided by H. Meyer and N Si?-b S ird d 'Sweepstake.-H. Meyer and G. Kosoof shot the possible. R. Clinch. Foote, A. Crabtree, D. Holland and H. Sodersten flhot 5 birds each.
