RACE TO COROMANDEL COMMENCEMENT THIS EVENING The yneht race to Coromandel which starts off tho King's Wharf at 7..30 this evening has attracted good entries in both the keel and centre-board classes. While a race for the 18footers is not included, owing to the possibilities of accidents, a race for this class will be held off the Coromandel Wharf on Sunday morning if sufficient entries are received. The entries received up to 5 p.m. yesterday were:— Keel Yachts.—Roiaata. Tainui, Niobe, Queenie, Speedwell, Tofua, Dolphin, Valdora. Windward. Medina. Centre-board Class.—Omntere, Halcyone, Starlight, Starloch, Celox, Mirage. Calypso, Sea Horse. Mclita, Aurora. EVENTS AT TAURANGA [BY TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT] TAURANGA, Wednesday The Tauranga Yacht and Power-Boat Club held a race for Cornwell Cup boats, which was won by Oi (L. and R. Stevens). The other starters were Me Too and Irene. Seven boats started in a race for the Ward Memorial Cup, which was won by Mario. Irene was second and Oi third.
