OBITUARY

MRS. W. G. JONES The death has occurred of Mrs. W. G. Jones, of Ellerslie. Mrs. Jones wa« the youngest daughter of the late Mr. William Ballard, a South Island West Coast pioneer. She was well known in West port and Karamea, where she resided for some years, subsequently removing to Wanganui. Mr. and Mrs. Jones and their faajjly came to Auckland six years ago, living at Manurewa and latterly Ellerslie. Mrs. Jones is .survived by her husband, three sons and a daughter. There are six grandchildren.
