CANCELLATION OF LICENCE [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] "WHAKATANE, Wednesday In the Magistrate's Court to-day C. Ransfield was charged with being in a state of intoxication while in charge of a motor-car. He was convicted and fined £5 and 22s costs. His current licence was cancelled, and defendant was prohibited from obtaining a further licence for six months
