NORTHERLY WINDS rain toward week-end The weather report and forecast for\ New Zealand, issued last evening by the Government meteorologist, were as follows: —An intense anti-cyclone is still situated over and east of New Zealand, whilo a deep depression covers southeast Australia and the western Tasman.
