On several occasions stone containing gold has been discovered and a few days ago J""Henry Lloyd of that district left wit# ns several samples of stone and reel clayey casing said to Contain gold, y® are assured by Mr. Lloyd that sample* of the same class of stuff yielded a sensible quantity of both gold and sdver.
