UP-TO-DATE NEW FIRE ENGINE FOR THE AUCKLAND METROPOLITAN FIRE BOARD TESTED YESTERDAY Two views of the new fire engine which is now in commission at the city fire station. The left-hand photograph shows how the men sit facing inwards instead of outwards as in the case of most of the older machines. The engine is fitted with a pump having a capacity of 400 gallons a minute.
