FALL DURING RACE

JOCKEY BREAKS LEG While competing in the Ruakaka Hurdles Handicap at the Te Aroha Jockey Club's meeting at Te Aroha on Saturday, W. J Pascoe, aged 20, single, of 4.'5 West Street, Newton, ridirig Solomon, was unseated at the second fence. He broke his left leg above the ankle, and was taken in a St. John ambulance to the Auckland Hospital.
