INQUIRIES BY COUNCIL [by telegraph—own correspondent! TAURANGA, Friday The Tauranga Borough Council this week discussed a proposal submitted, - Jv. by the Mayor. Mr. hj, JR.. Wilkinson, to make an offer for a section in the business area of the town as a site for ' swimming baths, and to submit a loan proposal to the ratepayers. The motion wa», defeated and it was decided to Jook further into the matter of acquiring U; land for baths.
