In tho championship event under 15 years, the record of 31s, established by G. Bridson in 1924, was bettered twice in tho heats, twice in the semi-finals, _ and lowered again in tho final. The winner, Davenport, returned the fine figures of 29 4-ss. The 100 yds open championship was won by Goldsmith, with Webster second and Cleary third.
