DOGS ON SHOW

SPLENDID DISPLAY I FOUR NEW BREEDS APPEAR v FINE SCOTTISH TERRIERS _ A feature of the Auckland Kennel Club's Show, held yesterday in conjunction with the Auckland Metropolitan Show at Epsom, was the exhibition of four breeds new to any exhibition in Auckland. The breeds, Dalmatians, Borzois, Australian Heelers, and Schnauzers, provided an additional attraction for dog lovers. Entries, with the exception of the Alsatian classes, exceeded those of previous yeftrs. The rough-collie and Scottish Terrier classes were stated to be the biggest .at- any show in the Dominion., The quality of the last-named was particularly high. English setters were also forward in larger numbers than in previous years. The awards are:—
