LATE MR. M. C. McGREGOR
[prom our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Thursday "His war record was unique and inspiring and his death is a national loss." said the Mayor, Mr. J. R. Fow, when referring at a meeting of the Hamilton Borough Council last evening to the death of Squadron-Leader M. C. McGregor, a former resident of , the town. Mr. Fow said that just as his forehears had been pioneers in settling the Waikato, so had Squadron-Leader Mc"?Gregor pioneered the wider spaces of "Jthe air. The whole nation was richer 'f by his life and deplored his early death. A resolution of sympathy with the was passed, and the council voted £2O toward the fund organised for the benefit of the family.
