TRAINING OF TEACHERS
WELLINGTON LECTURERS APPOINTMENTS APPROVED [BY TEI.EGBAPH PKF.SS ASSOCIATION] •WELLINGTON. Thursday The appointment of the following lecturers to the Wellington Teachers' Training College has been approved by the Minister of Education, the Hon. P Fraser: — Mr. E. Jenner, at present at the Christcliurch Training College; Mr. R. Hipkins, at present on the staff of the Wellington Technical College; Mr. W. J. Scott, of the Tiniaru Boys' High School; Mr. R. G. Lockhart, agricultural instructor in the Hawke's Bay education district; Miss M. J. Browne, of the Hutt Valley High School; and Miss M. M. Hanham, arts mistress at St. Matthew's Collegiate School, Masterton. The principal and vice-principal have yet to be appointed. Several other lecturers are also to be appointed.
