FIVE SCHOLARSHIPS OVER 100 STUDENTS APPLY / [BY TELEGBAFH —PBESS ASSOCIATION'] WELLINGTON', Thursday Competition for five veterinary scholarships granted by the New Zealand Government' has been exceptionally keen, well over 100 students from all parts of the Dominion applying for the scholarships to enable them to enter the Sydney University Veterinary School. The selection has yet to be finally approved, but the authorities hope to be in a position to announce the five names within the next few * days so that the successful applicants will be able to leave Wellington for Sydney on Tuesday and arrive in Australia in time for the opening of the first session at the vetcrn ary school on March 9
