REPAIRS TO RANGATIRA
TENDER ACCEPTED FOR WORK WELLINGTON FIRM SUCCESSFUL [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION*] WELLINGTON, Tuesday The Wellington Patent Slip Company was the successful tenderer for the repairs to the Union Steam Ship Company's Rangatira, which was severely damaged through striking a reef on February 2. Permanent repairs are to be made. The work, which is expected to take about three months, was begun yesterday.
