£125,000 FOR TWO MEN END OF LONG LITIGATION [from: our own correspondent] MELBOURNE, Feb. 13 By a unanimous reserved judgment of the High Court, John and William Henderson Glen, grand-nephews of the v late William Henderson Glen, music importer, who died :n February, 1892, to-day became entitled to £125,000, which is half the value of properties in Collins and Little Collins Streets, forming part of the estate of their granduncle.: The judgment marked the closing stage of litigation which has occupied about a year. The appeal of John Glen Curric on behalf of himself and other unsatisfied annuitants and legatees under tho will against a decision of the State Full Court that the inheritance should go to John and William Henderson Glen was dismissed. The State Full Court had set aside the judgment of the former Chief Justice of Victoria, Sir William Irvine, that the properties should fall into the / residue of the estate because the testator iiad not expressed himself clearly v enough for the Court to read into tho his intention of leaving the property jo his grand-nephews.
