KETCH IDLE HOUR
DEPARTURE FROM KAWAU TASMAN TRIP PREPARATIONS [bt radio OWN correspondent] KAWAU, Monday In continuation of her voyage to Sydney, the American ketch Idle Hour left Kawau for Russell at 5.30 p.m. to-day after taking on 300 gallons of fresh water for the Tasnian crossing. Timi, a Taliitian lad and a member of the crew, caught several kahawai and schnapper in Mansion House Bay, but, as he himself expressed it, "The fish here are very smart." It is expected that the Idle Hour will leave Russell at the end of the week and that the trip across the Tasnian will occupy about three weeks.
