RUGBY AT HONGKONG

UNIVERSITY PLAYERS DEFEAT OF ARMY AND NAVY HONGKONG, Feb. 21 The New Zealand Universities' Rugbv Union • team played the final game of the tour against a combined Army and Navy team at Hongkong to-day, winning by 26 to 0 after a brilliant display of Rugby of the carefree fashion. The team was: Tricklebank, Watt, Wild, Grant, Lewis, Parsons, Gillies, McAuliffe; forwards, Stace, Laney, Burke, Drake, Fade, Chcsterman and Simmers. Owing to the shortage of fit players New Zealand was compelled to play seven forwards and eight backs. Tlip scorers were Parsons (2), Wild (2), Lewis and Grant. Tricklebank converted four. Most of the tries were from brilliant openings by Gillies. A wonderful welcome was received from tho Australia and New Zealand Association and residents, who showered hospitality on the team. All the injured players are now well on the way to recovery. Hudson remained behind in Japan. The team is now looking forward to its arrival home.
