ONEHUNGA CROQUET CLUB
An enjoyable At Home was given by the president and members of the Onehunga Croquet Club tt their lawns on Thursday. Visitors from the following clubs were present:—Auckland, Mount Hobson, Epsom, Remuera, Mounv Albert, North Shore, Hillsborough, Devonport, United, Ponsonby, Mangere East, Henderson, Mangere Central, Mount Eden and Carlton. The pavilion and afternoon tea tables were atteaictively decorated by Mesdames Turnhull, Burgess and Bray and Miss Davy, in the club colours of cream and heliotrope. A progress tournament was held and bridge was also played. Prizes for cxoquet were won as follows: —A: Mesdames W. E. Thomson and Webber. B: Mesdames Massey and Robertson.
